Riding In The Rain
On the last couple of days before school started, I wanted to go mountain biking with my dad, so we went. Unfortunately for us, though, we got caught in a thunderstorm. This was a challenge on a completely different level! The roots were so slippery that both my dad and I probably slid about five times each. A struggle for me with my ADHD/OCD is feeling water droplets on my face and skin because I feel the sensation throughout my whole body. Because of this, it was pretty hard to stay focused on the trail, especially with the low visibility. Between the wet rocks, slippery roots, puddles, and mud, I had to slow down and focus pretty hard to keep myself from falling over. Even though it was challenging, it was also a new experience. Overall, the ride was pretty fun!
