The First Pump Track

My dad and I stumbled upon a pump track one day — basically a skate park made just for bikes, full of smooth rollers, banked turns, and little jumps. The moment I dropped in for the first time, I felt completely alive. I loved every second on that track. My ADHD kicked into high gear in the best way possible: it quickly scanned and sorted every upcoming turn, pump, and jump, helping me stay one step ahead. Instead of feeling scattered, my brain felt sharp and laser-focused. The constant motion matched my energy perfectly, turning what could have been overwhelming into pure flow and excitement. That pump track became one of my favorite places. It was fast, fun, and the perfect playground where my mind could race without ever feeling out of control.
